To Recycle 10+ Phones
You may order a box as shown if you will be recycling 10 or more cell phones at
a time. This recycle box will hold up to 50, or more, cell phones and can be conveniently
shipped by FedEx Ground with the prepaid shipping label already affixed to the box.
As part of our E-Waste recycle program you will be receiving a shipment of two (1cu
Ft.) cell phone recycling cartons. These special cartons are for the recycling of
cell phones only. The boxes are clearly marked and easy to use. In addition, there
is a poster that can be mounted on your window announcing you are collecting cell
phones. You decide where is best to hang within your office location.
Just have the donors drop their cell phone in the box. When filled, all you need
to do is close the box and give it to the FEDEX ground driver (freight charges included).

More Recycling Facts
Every day there are thousands of opportunities to recycle cell phones and accessories.
Call Coastal Recycling for our easy collection program and we will send you the
collection material. Recycling cell phones helps the environment by saving energy
and keeping useable and valuable materials out of landfills and incinerators.
Cell phones are made from precious metals copper, and plastics—all of which require
energy to mine and manufacture. Recycling these materials not only conserves resources,
but prevents air and water pollution and GREENhouse gas emissions.
In fact, if all of the 100 million cell phones ready for end of life management
in the U.S. are recycled, we could save enough energy to power more than 194,000
U.S. households with electricity for one year.
Donating your cell phone also benefits your community. When cell phones and accessories
are in good working condition, some programs donate them to a number of worthy charities
or provide them for discounted sale to those who need them. In addition, Coastal
Recycling Centers will donate a portion of its revenues to a charity or local school.
