Q. Do you collect E-waste?
A. Yes, we collect E-waste in the State of California only.
Q. What E-waste do you collect?
A. Computer towers, Monitors and Displays, Printers, Keyboards, Mice, Hard Drives,
Loose PCBAs, Laptop and Notebook computers, Fax Machines, Tape and Zip Drives, Televisions,
Inkjet Cartridges, Laser/Toner Cartridges, Cell phones, DVD Players, VCRs, Cable
and Cords, Telephones, Optical Drives, Radios, Shredders, Stereo Components, Oscilloscopes,
PC Boards and Lab Equipment.
Q. Can anyone use the Donate Waste Program?
A. Everyone is welcome to use the Donate Waste Program. However, they must follow
the rules for shipping empty printer cartridges and used cell phones with the prepaid
shipping labels.
Q. Can I ship cartridges and cell phones from anywhere in the world through this
program?
A. This program is only available throughout the contiguous United States.
Q. How often are shipments accepted?
A. This is an ongoing program for collecting used printer cartridges and cell phones.
There are no deadlines for shipping the used items. The prepaid shipping labels
do not expire so you can send one shipment a day or one shipment a year. It's completely
up to you.
Q. Are bulk shipments accepted through this program?
A. An LTL pickup can be arranged, at no charge to you, for shipments containing
at least 100 OEM virgin cartridges. Please contact the customer service department
at 760.636.4892 to arrange a pickup.
Q. How will I know when my shipment arrives at the receiving facility?
A. All shipments received at the ship to facility are scanned at the door. Then
the contents of each box are inspected and the results are recorded in your account.
This process takes about 90 days. Once this happens, you or your charity, will receive
a print out with your check of $25 or more.
